Of course, it is possible to participate only in part of the program.



On Wednesday, December 18, 2013, the anniversary of Kotěra's birth (December 18, 1871), we will once again head to the architect's grave, where Dr. Oldřich Janota will speak about the significance of this creative personality of modern Czech architecture.
At 16:00, Ing. arch. Zdeněk Lukeš will guide visitors through Trmal Villa.
At 17:00, the opening of the exhibition Jan Kotěra known / unknown will begin.
Visitors will see, in addition to the permanent exhibition of Kotěra's furniture, loaned from the Museum of Decorative Arts, two additional museum exhibits, which will be presented by PhDr. Danie Karasová.
The exhibition Family Houses of Jan Kotěra will also be complemented by examples of Jan Kotěra's graphic and drawing work, presented by Anna Oplatková.

The year 2013 is significant for the cultural monument Trmal Villa due to two anniversaries:
it is exactly 110 years since the completion of this family house by the prominent architect Jan Kotěra, and this year we also commemorate 90 years since his death (April 17, 1923).

At the end of the festive evening in Trmal Villa, the Year of Spa Architecture 2014 will be announced
and visitors will be able to purchase books from the FOIBOS publishing house at a pre-Christmas discount.
