In Brno, construction fairs are starting, showcasing more than a thousand companies

Brno - The construction fairs start today in Brno. Over a thousand exhibitors will present themselves at this traditional exhibition event, an increase compared to last year. After three years, construction machinery will return to the Brno exhibition center, filling the open space between the pavilions. The construction fairs will last until Saturday, and today the event will be visited by the President of the Czech Republic, Václav Klaus.
    Among the main topics of the accompanying program of the fairs are, for example, infrastructure construction in the Czech Republic and its financing; there will also be discussions on the issues of low-energy buildings.
    Despite the crisis in construction, the pavilions P, V, A, F will be filled, while the exhibitors of the housing construction fair Mobitex will present themselves in pavilions G1 and G2. A total of 48,426 square meters of net exhibition space will be occupied by companies.
    The construction fairs at the Brno exhibition center will conclude on Saturday, April 16, simultaneously with the interior and housing fair MOBITEX. Last year, 80,541 visitors from 36 countries came to the construction fairs. The event featured 1,051 companies from 18 countries; this year there will be 27 more companies.
