At the fairs in Brno, energy-efficient construction products were successful

Brno - This year, energy-efficient building products succeeded at the Brno construction fairs. Gold medals for the best exhibits were taken home this evening from the Brno exhibition center by representatives of the Spanish manufacturer SOLER & PALAU S.A. and the Polish company Zakład Elektroniczny TATAREK, among others. Most of the awards went to foreign manufacturers. A total of eight gold medals were awarded, compared to five last year. This was reported by representatives of the Brno Fairs.
    Among Czech manufacturers, ATREA s.r.o. stood out with its energy center for family homes. The jury was impressed by its heating system that provides warm air heating, controlled ventilation with heat recovery from waste air, cooling, and other services.
    The Polish Zakład Elektroniczny TATAREK excelled with its control system for water-jacketed fireplace inserts, the Spanish SOLER & PALAU S.A. with a recovery unit for controlled ventilation of apartments and family homes, and the manufacturer ROTEX Heating Systems GmbH with a solar system for heating and supporting heating.
    The gold medal was also awarded to the passive house by the company Josef Dvořák - IZOPOL, a Caterpillar tracked machine, a Volvo wheel loader, and stairs for flat roofs by Wippro Türen-und Treppenwerk Wipplinger.
    Awards were also announced for the furniture fair Mobitex. The award for progressive design went to the Merano dining chair by TON. The first place in the progressive material category was won by La modula by Jelínek, which presents it on its website as furniture "that grows with the child".
