Brno - The construction fairs at the Brno Exhibition Centre will open this year almost two months earlier than usual. The Construction Fair, the Wood and Buildings Fair, and Mobitex, which focuses on furniture and interior design, have moved to the end of February and the beginning of March. Typically, they were held at the end of April. The news of the fairs, which start next Wednesday, was presented today at a press conference by representatives of the Brno Fairs and industry organizations.

This year, the organizers have adjusted the schedule of the fair to align with the beginning of the construction season, which will precede it. Experts and people planning construction or renovation can thus gain insights into the new offerings for the upcoming period before the season starts. "Another reason was the overlap with some other industry events that our exhibitors also attend as visitors," added the fair director Martin Videczký.

Like last year, 250 exhibitors predominantly from the Czech Republic will present at the construction fairs. In addition to the traditional pavilions P and F, this year will also include pavilion Z, where student competitions and showcases of apprentices' and students' work will move from the open areas. In pavilion P, visitors will find construction fields, while pavilion F will belong to furniture makers.

"The main theme of the fair this year is healthy living. A whole block of lectures will be dedicated to it on Saturday, March 2, and the exhibitors will also present their special systems - whether smart solutions that can automatically create a healthy climate or design humidifiers and fans," stated the fair spokesperson Iva Hilbertová.

Each of the four days of the fair will focus on a different theme under the auspices of the Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians Active in Construction (ČKAIT). Wednesday, February 27, will focus on water management, Thursday on fire protection, Friday on barrier-free living, and Saturday on healthy living.

The fairs will be open from Wednesday to Saturday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with free entry after 3:00 PM.
