Valašské Meziříčí - Residents and visitors of Valašské Meziříčí in the Vsetín region will be able to use the indoor swimming pool only at the end of the year. The investment, originally expected to be completed in the middle of the year at a cost of about 142 million crowns, has been delayed due to complex geological conditions and changes in the project. This was reported today by the spokesman for Valašské Meziříčí, Josef Beneš.

The indoor swimming pool, which is being invested in by the city-owned company ST Servis, began construction last March. The facility will be located between the outdoor swimming pool and the ice rink and will feature two pool halls. There will also be water attractions, a children's pool, saunas, a solarium, and a restaurant. Valašské Meziříčí will finance the entire construction from its own resources and loans.
Valašské Meziříčí, which is the fourth largest city in the region, is expected to operate this year with a deficit of 43.3 million crowns, with expected expenses totaling 525.5 million. The construction of the pool, with a capacity of up to 200 people, and the related expenses for addressing transportation around the facility represent the city's largest investment this year.
