The subject of the competition is the construction of contemporary, durable, and socially beneficial buildings - Biocenters and Globcenters in the Albertov Campus in the cadastral area of Nové Město - Prague. The research of the Biocenter will focus on the understanding of living systems for the needs of human health, new biotechnologies, and the protection of biodiversity. The research of the Globcenter will focus on individual aspects of global changes, such as the dynamics of climate change on the planet, changes in the distribution of organisms, global dynamics of biodiversity and the role of invasive species, vegetation dynamics in old and modern landscapes, and species spread, natural threats and risks, changes in land use.
