Vinyl floating covering DESIGNline® Connect Laguna for predominantly residential areas

Practicality, high durability and flexibility, pleasant surface with real wood structure and beveled edges, easy maintenance, moisture resistance, quiet acoustics, low construction height, and simple installation are just some of the main characteristics of the already presented collection of vinyl flooring DESIGNline® Connect Bacana, the first full vinyl flooring with a click connection from the German manufacturer Windmöller Flooring. The introduction of the Bacana collection to the market quickly enjoyed success with customers from both the private and commercial sectors, to which the manufacturer responded by presenting a brand new collection. DESIGNline® Connect Laguna, the current novelty of this year, which is imported and sold in the Czech market by Kratochvíl parket profi, retains similar technical and utility properties as its predecessors, but is primarily intended mainly for private use in the interiors of apartments and family homes. Customers can purchase Laguna with 12 decors inspired by wood and a load class of 23/31 at a more favorable price. The collection DESIGNline® Connect Laguna with 12 diverse wood decors, authentic structured surface, and beveled edges is the ideal solution for all households that, for various reasons, reject classic PVC, carpets, or laminate flooring and at the same time fear acquiring a wooden floor, which does require more careful handling, more demanding maintenance and usually comes with higher acquisition costs. The highly elastic and resistant boards from the Laguna collection are produced in dimensions of 1212 x 185 mm and can basically be placed in all living spaces for which the collection is primarily intended. For heavily loaded commercial use, the manufacturer recommends the aforementioned Bacana collection.
The full vinyl flooring DESIGNline® Connect can fully compete with flooring made of plasticized PVC, to which it is more resistant and stable, as well as laminated floors, over which it wins both in overall construction solution and pleasant and warmer surface. Despite being equipped with a click connection, this heterogeneous (consisting of multiple layers) vinyl floor is only 5 mm thick. The thickness of the wear layer vinyl reaches 0.3 mm. This exceptionally low flooring can also be installed in rooms with limited construction height.

The basis of the DESIGNline® Connect floor is a rubber carrier on which the decor is applied and covered with a layer of vinyl. To ensure truly high durability, the surface of the flooring is additionally hardened with a protective PU layer. The collection allows installation over underfloor heating. Any shape changes of the floor due to the influence of heat are prevented by a special fiberglass grid placed under the vinyl layer.

The Unilin click joint, with which the boards are factory equipped, allows easy and quick installation of the flooring in a floating manner, but always on a completely flat and clean surface free of any small stones and other impurities that may manifest over time on the floor. The flooring does not require any additional underlayment during installation. However, in areas with higher humidity concentration, it is better, primarily for hygienic reasons, to permanently glue the floor to the substrate.

As with most floor coverings, the intensity of cleaning depends on the area of use and frequency of use. Greater attention should be paid to the areas near entrances to rooms, where dirt is immediately brought in. The floor should be swept, vacuumed, and in cases of significant soiling, mopped, always ensuring that the cloth or mop is very well wrung out. For heavy contamination, a polyurethane cleaner can be used.
