Results of the NČA selection procedure for the year 2009

At the beginning of the year, a selection procedure took place for the distribution of foundation grants for 2009. It was announced for a total of two categories:
Category A - exhibition activities
Category B - publishing and lecturing activities,
among which a total amount of 1 million CZK was distributed.

A total of 37 projects applied for the selection process, 19 of which were in category A, and 18 in category B.
Among the priorities of the NČA grant policy are a focus on contemporary architecture, support for new projects, and the existence of the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery in Prague and the Architecture Gallery in Brno. The foundation does not support the own professional activities of architects and activities organized by architecture schools.
The proposal for the distribution of foundation grants was prepared by the grant commission consisting of Milena Sršňová, Aleš Burian, Jaroslav Zima, Marek Chalupa, Petr Malinký, and Ladislav Kuba, with the participation of foundation board members Ivan Vavřík, Martin Peterka, Tomáš Zlámal, Radek Kolařík, and Michal Kuzemenský.
The proposal was approved by the foundation's board. The foundation grants were awarded as follows:
