Grants NČA for the year 2006 allocated

The NČA Board approved the distribution of foundation grants for the year 2006 in the field of architectural support at its meeting on January 26, 2006. A total amount of 1,693,000 CZK was distributed among 3 categories:

Category A – exhibition activities 750,000 CZK
Category B – promotion of architecture 113,000 CZK
Category C – publishing activities 830,000 CZK

The financial source for the selection procedure is the income from the foundation's assets, i.e., from the rental of properties and from the financial amount of 33,965,000 CZK, which the NČA obtained from the Foundation Investment Fund (NIF).
The proposal for the distribution of foundation grants among selected projects was prepared by a grant committee composed of representatives of the board and invited experts, which this year consisted of:
Milena Sršňová, Martin Roubík, Petr Malinský, Jaroslav Zima, Ivan Vavřík, Michal Kuzemenský, Martin Peterka, Tomáš Zlámal, Radek Kolařík, Jaroslav Wertig.
A total of 30 projects applied for Category A - exhibition activities, 12 projects were selected, 9 projects applied for Category B – promotion of architecture, 4 projects were selected, and 33 projects applied for Category C – publishing activities, 19 projects were selected.
