One of the goals of the Ostrava Center for New Architecture is to bring to light new quality architecture and to enable discussions about the process, circumstances, and conditions of its "birth," as well as the growing pains that often accompany it.
This intention led to the creation of the project JINÉ DOMY 007. Seven invited architectural studios from North Moravia and Silesia are thus given the opportunity to confront their experiences with one another and present their work in the field of residential buildings. The aim is not to evaluate but to provide a comparison and a glimpse into the background of creation.
What are young architects building in this region? How do they live here? What buildings do they design, and what do they dream of? Where do they draw inspiration from? Is Ostrava a blessing or a burden for them?
Join us on a tour of the exhibition and take a peek into the lives of those who are seeking answers to these questions right here in the northeastern corner of the Czech Republic.
