The architectural exhibition in our design is not made up of a presentation of architecture, but an experience of space.

Architecture cannot be exhibited; we must experience it.

We do not create a copy of the spaces designed by the author, but through contemporary means, we explore spaces and the potential of three styles in which Pavel Janák created.

Cubism, Rondokubism, and Functionalism are evidenced in real time and space through three gates that guide the visitor into the different parts of the exhibition.

Variability, Flexibility, Adaptability, Changeability, and Adjustability allow the exhibition to be presented in a broader or narrowed selection in various exhibition spaces.

Three Gates
[second page]

Cubism as a Constructive Challenge
The entrance to the cubist period leads through a perforated surface – represented today in architecture through the work of several authors, where the main motif and the main structural system become the bending of flat surfaces. Folding principle.
Repetition of the Original
The visitor enters the creation of the rondo-cubist period through a space where the basic forms of rondokubism are transformed into abstraction, mirrored infinitely from the floor, ceiling, and side walls. This is the principle of architectural repetition of the original element. It is best seen in the author's palace Adria. The principle of repetition is a fundamental architectural principle.
The Space of the Absolute
Functionalism conveys to visitors absolute purity, achieved through the effect of radiant light shining from the wall and ceiling.

All spaces behind the entrance gates will be composed of tables of the same module 1200 x 600 mm. The tabletop and sides of the table are removable and can be folded for transport to a size of 1200 x 600 x 100 mm.
Considering the diversity of exhibits, one can place an architectural model, book, personal item, journal, sketch, or plan on the table. In the case of valuable originals, they will be placed under protective glass of the same dimensions as the table's top.
On the wall of each room, there will be a large-format print on hanging textile as a counterpoint to the small scale of the original plans and sketches on display.
The modular principle based on the table 1200 x 600 mm allows for a range of combinations, which we demonstrate in an abstract space of 9 x 9 x 4 m.

Recognition
The central space on the first floor will belong to Janák's early work and will present various exhibits arranged in consultation with the chief curator of the exhibition.

Considering the need to present film materials, two side rooms will be equipped as screening rooms with digital projection and sound. The scope and duration of the film materials will be determined by the curator.

Entry
The introductory text to the exhibition in the entrance spaces should be printed on a textile that will be stretched from the ceiling, and besides the exhibition title, basic information about the author should also be included.

Reconstruction
The final part of the exhibition, located on the ground floor of the House of Art, will focus on reconstructions and will be presented using the same principle as the other parts of the exhibition, with a modular assembly of tables and large-format prints.

Conclusion or a Section for the Economic Department
The exhibition is minimized to three exhibition pieces, gates that will be removable and easily transportable, as well as a number of tables, the amount of which will be determined by the extent of the exhibition material. The rest of the exhibition will consist of large-format prints and borrowed originals.
