We invite you to a lecture by Ing. Martin Svoboda on the principles of building modern libraries for the 21st century. The following panel discussion will address this issue from the perspective of librarians and architects. What are the biggest pitfalls on the journey from idea to construction? How should optimal communication between builders, designers, and librarians look? How flexible and open to the public should a contemporary library be, and what services should it offer to the public? What are the specifics of national and municipal libraries?
Guests who will answer these and other questions include: PhDr. Vojtěch Balík, PhDr. Ladislav Kurka, prof. Ing. arch. Miroslav Masák, PhDr. Vít Richter, PhDr. Bohdana Stoklasová, and Ing. Martin Svoboda.
