WOMEN ARCHITECTS is a professional civic association with the ambition to become a Central European platform for the support and presentation of female architects. The goal of the association is to present and support women in the architectural profession, exchange experiences between Slovak and foreign female architects, and to map the ratio of women and men in education and the practice of the architectural profession. The association was founded by Andrea Klimko, Dana Blaškovičová, and Dana Moderdovská in 2013 in Slovakia, modeled after similar organizations abroad, with the long-term goal of operating both in the domestic and international scene.
