lectures, excursions, discussions, and meetings with architects

November 1-2, 2007
experimental space Roxy/NoD, Dlouhá 33, Prague
admission: voluntary

The daylong - 24-hour - project KRUH will present a subjective selection of graduates from significant architectural schools, their independent designs and projects created outside or after school, and their views on architecture and theory. The spectrum of speakers includes not only experienced architects from renowned studios but also the youngest generation of emerging creators. The effort was to reflect on whether and how the teaching and creation methods of professors are reflected in their students' work - both immediately after graduation and over a longer period. Each school will be introduced by its own educators. The architects' presentations will be complemented by excursions to the surrounding area and concerts by architects.

Confirmed participants so far include graduates from the schools of Ján Bahna (SK), Jan Bočan, Roman Koucký, Ladislav Lábus, Emil Přikryl, Martin Rajniš, Miroslav Šik, and Alena Šrámková. Among others, Ondřej Císler (hcA), Marek Chalupa, and Štěpán Chalupa (dum architekti), David Kraus (Architektura s.r.o.), Sporadical, fam architekti, and many others will participate.
