Zlín - A new residential complex with 127 housing units will be built in Zlín. The Zlín construction company PSG-International will construct it in the Křiby area. Construction work has already begun, with the completion of the building tentatively planned for August next year. The first tenants could move into the new apartments likely next fall. Martin Doležal from PSG-International informed ČTK about this. The investor of the construction is the Zlín company AIP development.

"This is a very interesting offer of apartments, as the zoning plan no longer allows surrounding greenery to be developed with more buildings," said Ivana Otradovcová from PSG. The residential complex will consist of several interconnected buildings and will offer a range of one-bedroom to four-bedroom apartments to interested parties. The construction will also include 98 parking spaces, with an additional 47 spaces for cars being created in the vicinity of the building.
The Zlín company PSG-International specializes mainly in providing energy and industrial constructions in the Czech Republic and abroad, but it also engages in residential construction. In the Zlín Region, for example, the company has already built a production hall for Preciz in Otrokovice and a logistics and administrative center for Lapp Kabel. "We are building in Russia, Ukraine, and we are also preparing to go to Asia, but we do not intend to leave Zlín. We have our headquarters here, and therefore we want to be visible here," explained the commercial director of the company Aleš Ullmann.
AIP development finances the construction of the complex in collaboration with Komerční banka. "The entire construction process is financially secured. All funds are in a blocked account under the bank's control and can only be used for the construction within the budgets," said Petr Košacký from the investor company.
Residential construction in the Zlín Region has been growing in recent years. According to the Czech Statistical Office, builders completed 269 new housing units just in the first quarter of this year, and started construction on another 380. One of the most attractive locations in the region is the capital city, where, according to experts, interest in new apartments is growing mainly due to the good transport infrastructure and employment opportunities.
