The creative gallery of South Moravian professionals from creative industries is open for just a few more days. In it, agencies and freelancers can showcase their portfolios and thereby indirectly invite collaboration. Technology companies will then select creatives from them. Brno will contribute to their collaboration through the JIC creative voucher of up to 100,000 crowns.

Architects, branding experts, UX and service designers, copywriters, marketers, web designers, industrial and graphic designers, as well as people involved in scenography, music, sound, or video can apply to the gallery on the JIC website. "I registered because it is another channel through which I can present myself. The fact that it is managed by a reputable organization and that all applicants must meet certain conditions adds credibility for potential clients. I am also looking forward to the technology companies that will enable me to collaborate," explains his motivations industrial designer Jan Hřebíček.

How to do it? Simply register at JIC creative voucher and fill out a profile, which includes three recommendations from customers and five examples of realisations for each of the registered categories. Once approved, the profile will be displayed in the creative gallery. From February 1, representatives of technology companies will start reaching out to creatives. Once they agree on terms and prepare a proposal for collaboration, they will submit a voucher request on the website. The company will pay the creatives, and if selected, will receive up to 75% of the costs back.

The condition for a creative to apply is at least five years of experience in the field and a residence or workplace in South Moravia. On the night of January 15 to January 16, the gallery will close and no further information can be added. The drawing for supported collaborations will take place on April 27 at JIC.

Where did the JIC creative voucher come from? It is a voucher for collaboration between companies and creatives aimed at supporting the businesses of South Moravian technology companies. Brno thus supports professionals from creative industries who operate in the South Moravian metropolis. It builds on the Creative Brno project, which mapped that approximately one in ten people in the city works in the creative sector. "However, it doesn't end with creative vouchers. As part of the Plan for Supporting Creative Industries, we are continuing the revitalization of urban brownfields into a creative center-incubator, and we will also initiate the establishment of a regional film office, design center, creative residencies, or the establishment of new creative disciplines at universities," specifies Tereza Chrástová, coordinator for supporting creative industries. Brno has allocated 4 million crowns for JIC creative vouchers. The selected collaborations will receive a financial injection of up to 75% of the costs, with a maximum of 100,000 crowns. A similar project is taking place in the Czech Republic for the first time.
