For the sixth time, the Petra Parléř Society announces an architectural and urban planning competition for the Petra Parléř Award and simultaneously offers eleven interesting topics that have emerged from this year's city competition. The majority of the proposals to be resolved consist of public spaces, but there are also recreational areas, a monastery, and for the first time, a monument-protected urban cemetery. The briefs are more carefully prepared than in previous years, and mostly quality materials are available.

The competition will last from May 21 to September 25, 2008. The jury of the competition consists of: Ing. arch. Pavel Hnilička, ing. arch. Ivan Hnízdil, ing. arch. Tomáš Hradečný, ing. arch. MgA. Alena Hýblová, akad. arch. Petr Kovář, ing. arch. Milan Körner, prof. ing. arch. Miroslav Masák, ing. arch. Jan Sedlák, and ing. arch. Jaroslav Wertig.
