Show what you have in you and win a weekend trip for two people to Austria including lift passes to the Dachstein Glacier!
The Austrian company STIA Holzindustrie GmbH, manufacturer of natural ADMONTER large-format wooden panels, announces the first annual design contest 2012 in the Czech Republic, which can be entered by any university student interested in architecture, design, and construction.
Your task is to design a piece for the interior using Admonter large-format panels, which are ideal for furniture and interior equipment due to their layered construction. For your design, you can choose from a wide range of classic European timbers, such as oak, beech, maple, ash, larch, spruce, as well as thermally modified woods: mocca oak, mocca ash, mocca robinia, or American woods: cherry and walnut, or special types: old larch, old alpine boards, and cirbe.
The interior furnishings you design can also be combined with other materials, such as stainless steel, leather, and stone for design or structural requirements. Each large-format panel also pairs well with Admonter natural wooden flooring, which is another incentive for your design.
