New generation of blinds for roof windows

FAKRO Company is offering a new generation of awnings for roof windows in anticipation of the upcoming hot days. A wide range of external accessories ensures effective protection against solar heat. The new generation of electrically operated awnings provides the highest comfort of use and effective protection against overheating. Since the awning absorbs solar radiation before the glazing and emits heat outside, it provides much better protection against heating than internal accessories. Compared to internal accessories, the awning protects against overheating up to 8 times more effectively. When retracted, the awning ensures an even distribution of light. It protects the eyes from harmful reflections, especially when working on a computer.

The awning ensures the influx of natural daylight and allows eye contact with the surroundings, providing a sense of privacy and protection from unwanted outside views. Electrically operated awnings are available in two versions:

- AMZ Solar, which operates automatically. Depending on the intensity of solar radiation, it automatically unfolds and protects the attic from heating. AMZ Solar does not use energy from the electrical grid; it is powered by a solar battery. It can be controlled in one of three modes: automatically (automatic unfolding and rolling up depending on the intensity of sunlight), semi-automatically (automatic unfolding, rolling up using a remote control), or remotely using the included remote control, which is part of its equipment.

- AMZ Z-Wave, powered from the electrical grid and controlled via remote control or a wall-mounted control panel in a wireless Z-Wave system. It collaborates with electrically operated FAKRO products equipped with the Z-Wave module, e.g. with the FTP-V Electro Z-Wave window. In exceptional cases, it can be controlled by a service button located on the awning. This version of the awning can be stopped in any position.
