Mutaflex system

One of the most advanced solutions for multifunctional indoor spaces is the Mutaflex Seating Concept, designed by the development center of the Spanish company Figueras. This system has been awarded the international Delta de Plata prize in the field of industrial design (awarded by the ADI-FAD association). The jury, led by the famous design theorist Italo Gilberto Dorfles, selected Mutaflex primarily for its excellent features and revolutionary solution for multifunctional spaces.

Flexible use of space for various purposes entails a whole range of seating requirements. You either need to sit comfortably in a conference room, or the space should remain free for presentations, exhibition booths, or some occasional event. Mutaflex is a flexible mobile seating system that allows for the operational transformation of conference halls, meeting rooms, theaters, cinemas, or auditoriums. An open space for banquets, a dance floor, or an exhibition area can easily be transformed into a comfortable cinema or auditorium.
Mutaflex is based on the principle of foldable rows of seats, which automatically retract into a container under the floor. Each row can have up to twelve seats.
