The stylish home of the artist is located in the well-known Amsterdam district of Oud-Zuid. It hides several museums, including the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and it is also where the famous Dutch designer Edward Van Vliet has created his living space from two small shops.

It is not just his own apartment, but rather a design laboratory, where he places the latest products to test them in practice. Several interesting products created by Van Vliet for Moroso, Kvadrat, Moooi, and other world-renowned furniture brands are displayed here.

Nour Collection

For FORMANI, the designer created a range of door fittings that is a significant part of his collection. The color combinations of black and gold not only highlight the doors but also permeate the entire house. Naturally, the door fittings include WC locks, furniture fittings, and handles. The black and gold combination carries an Asian influence but also recalls the classic modernism of the 1930s when doors were equipped with handles made of black ebony.

Flexibility in materials and shape

A typical characteristic of NOUR is incredible variability. The individual parts can be combined both in color and shape. The part of the handle that is grabbed can have many color variants ranging from polished stainless steel, PVD matte gold, matte black, to matte white.
