Ceresit presented new products for cladding and facades at BAU 2013

At the Munich BAU exhibition, Ceresit presented its latest innovations and offered a preview for 2013. "Our presentation at BAU showed that we continue to optimize our product range and introduce new premium and innovative products,” said David Krčka, brand manager for CZ/SK construction chemistry Ceresit in connection with the Ceresit exhibition offer at BAU, adding: "It was also evident in Munich how significantly we have innovated our range in the last two years. The highly flexible universal adhesive Ceresit CM 77 Ultraflex has received a lot of attention among products for tiles and slabs, and a significant innovation is the new epoxy system for bonding and grouting tiles and slabs Ceresit UltraPox, which will soon be launched in the Czech market. The brand Ceresit confirmed its leading role in innovation, as evidenced by the survey of favorite products and brands among German architects, Architect’s Darling 2012, in which the Ceresit brand won the bronze award in the "Adhesives and Mortars" category.” The Ceresit exhibition in Munich also drew attention to new hybrid technologies for tiles and slabs, which, thanks to their innovative combination of binders, facilitate the processing of Ceresit construction chemistry products and produce 60% less CO2 than Portland cement. In the field of façade systems, Ceresit Visage products appeared featuring wood, stone, and metal designs, while this year's new product is the Ceresit Impactum system, offering façades with extreme resistance to impact and mechanical stress.

The Ceresit exhibition at this year's BAU was also focused on practical demonstrations of individual innovations. At the large demonstration counter, there were presentations on working with the new CM 77 UltraFlex adhesive based on MS polymer with patented FlexTec technology, designed for bonding tiles and slabs on critical substrates, and new UltraPox system products - grouting and adhesive materials based on epoxy resins. The gray 2K epoxy adhesive and grout stand out for their easy processability, high chemical resistance, and suitability for bonding and grouting all types of ceramic tiles and slabs. However, the main focus of all visitors was directed at two other products from this system - the white epoxy grout and adhesive in one - CE 79 UltraPox Color. This is ideal for bonding and grouting today’s popular glass mosaics, transparent and translucent materials such as glass, light natural stone, etc. Using the coloring paste CE 80 UltraPox Mix, it is very easy to obtain 13 modern and trendy color shades.
