VÍT SOUKUP & MICHAL PĚCHOUČEK

Michal Pěchouček (*1973) will showcase his own videos as well as videos by his friend, painter and performer Vít Soukup (1971-2007), who in the late 90s wore a sweatshirt with "SOUKUP" hand-stitched on the chest. When he stayed overnight at the studio, he would sleep on gazelle skin.

Evenings of video art at Café Sladkovský, organized in cooperation with VVP AVU, complement a series of lectures focusing on modern and contemporary art, architecture, public space, and prominent individuals who have lived or are living in Vršovice.
