Prague - An administrative center Opatov Park will be built near Litochlebské Square in Prague 11. Construction began in recent days and will be completed in 2008. The project's costs are around 650 million crowns, investors Sekyra Group and Immoeast informed ČTK. "Prague 11 is an area where hundreds of prestigious companies are relocating. The reason is its close connection to the main highways and quality infrastructure," stated Leoš Anderle, the executive director of Sekyra Group for the development area. The first phase of construction will be a new administrative building, which will have six above-ground and three underground floors. In addition to offices, there will be retail spaces, a restaurant with a café, and parking spaces. There will be 236 indoor and 48 outdoor parking places created. The project site is located near the Opatov metro station. Access to the complex will be from the connected streets Chilská and Hviezdoslavova. According to investors, the new building will be sufficiently distanced from surrounding buildings. Sekyra Group has been active in the real estate market since 1996, primarily in the area of commercial and residential projects. It is also active in foreign real estate markets, particularly in Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, Croatia, Romania, and Serbia. The group plans to invest more than 30 billion crowns in the construction of new administrative centers by 2010. The Austrian company Immoeast intends to invest five billion euros in Central and Eastern Europe in the next 12 months, according to press information. The largest part of the money is expected to go to the Czech Republic.
