Under the Libeň Bridge, eight buildings with 365 apartments and a kindergarten are to be built

Prague – Near the Libeň Bridge in Prague's Holešovice, eight residential buildings with 365 apartments are to be built. The Uniq Tesla II project, located on the land between Dělnická, Jankovcova, Tusarova, and V Háji streets, will also include restaurants, a kindergarten, or garages. The Prague 7 City Hall is then requiring the investor, the Lexington company, to build sidewalks, plant greenery, and differentiate the individual facades of the buildings. This is stated in a document approved by the city council.

New buildings are planned for the site of the former Tesla factory. "The intention, through its arrangement, connects to the typical development of Lower Holešovice. A green residential courtyard is proposed within the block. Greenery is also planned for the roofs of the building," states the document approved by the councilors.

The buildings are to have seven above-ground floors. One so-called set-back floor is proposed for those along Dělnická. The buildings on Jankovcova and at the corner of Dělnická and Jankovcova streets will have two set-back floors. Shops and services will be located on the ground floor in Dělnická and partially in the streets V Háji and Jankovcova. A public space approximately 15 meters wide with a park is also proposed on Dělnická.

"The primary purpose of the buildings is 90 percent residential," the material states. However, shops, restaurants, and a kindergarten with two classes and a garden in the courtyard will also be created. The underground garages will have 466 parking spaces over three levels.

The leadership of Prague 7 is requiring the investor to consistently differentiate the facades of the buildings, both in material and color, so that a large uniform block does not emerge. Another demand is the construction of sidewalks with typical Prague paving and the planting of street tree lines in V Háji and Jankovcova streets.
