Brno - The traditional construction fairs, which will take place in April at the Brno Exhibition Centre, will this year for the first time include a separate event focused on wooden buildings. Jana Tyrichová from the Brno Fairs told ČTK. The four-day construction fairs will begin on April 23. The fair will present a comprehensive showcase of wooden buildings, structures, materials for wooden buildings and structures, as well as foundations and cladding for wooden buildings. "Special techniques for wooden buildings, as well as machines and equipment for wood processing, will also be included," said Tyrichová. Visitors will see the individual steps of constructing wooden houses. On the first day of the fair, interested parties will learn everything necessary to decide on construction. "On the second day, they will find out how it's done, sources of financing, and also what it is like to live in a wooden building. The third day will be dedicated to the area that we can call how it should look," stated Tyrichová. This year's construction fairs will be entirely focused on energy-efficient building. The State Housing Development Fund will organize a consulting center for the PANEL 2013 + program. The program is intended for all owners of apartment buildings, regardless of the construction technology used.
