The city of Jeseník has announced a two-stage public project urban architectural competition. The subject of the competition is the preparation of an urban-architectural design solution for the new building of the central city office and the city hall between Školní and Tovární streets in Jeseník.
The first round of the competition runs from August 4, 2008, to October 20, 2008; written inquiries can be submitted until August 27, 2008. The deadline for the second round will be January 12, 2009.
A total of 1,105,000 CZK is reserved for prizes and awards (prizes of 485,000, 285,000, and 185,000 CZK, and a total of 150,000 CZK in awards). Non-awarded participants of the second round of the competition will receive 25,000 CZK.
