The PPF Group will move to a new building in Prague 6

Prague - The seat of the financial group PPF will be the building named PPF Gate in Prague 6 at the beginning of Evropská Street next year. The new representative building, which is currently being completed, will offer office space for PPF Group companies. This was reported today by PPF spokesperson Alexej Bechtin.
    The owner of the multifunctional building is the company PPF Gate, which belongs to PPF Group N.V. The expected moving date to the new premises is the second quarter of 2008. The PPF Group companies, which are currently operating at various addresses in Prague, will have their headquarters here. This change does not concern the companies from the Czech Insurance group, which is building its headquarters in Prague 4 at Pankrác.
    PPF Gate will offer space of up to 20,000 m² for nearly a thousand people. It will serve not only the companies of the PPF Group but also other tenants. Office and commercial areas will be located on seven above-ground floors. Garages with more than 200 parking spots and storage spaces are planned in three underground floors. The project also includes modifications to the area surrounding the building.
    PPF is probably the strongest financial group coming from the Czech Republic. It controls the Czech Insurance company, owns the installment company Home Credit, and PPF Bank, and it also provides asset management services.
    The group, which has its headquarters in the Netherlands, manages assets worth more than 224 billion CZK. In recent years, PPF has been trying to expand into foreign markets with financial products, especially to the east. It operates in Slovakia, Russia, and Kazakhstan, last year it acquired financial institutions in Ukraine, and it is preparing to enter Belarus. It is also preparing a venture in China and has representation in Vietnam.
