Praha 7 has completed the renovation of Ortenovo náměstí after several years

Prague - Prague 7 has completed a multi-year renovation of Orten Square. New parking spaces have been created and the area in front of the local school has been tranquilized. The reconstruction of the largest square in this municipal district cost 38 million crowns. The opposition claims that the investment is overpriced.
    Originally, the square was supposed to be modernized four years ago. However, the work was delayed multiple times by the decision of the anti-monopoly office.
    In addition to park modifications, workers relocated tram tracks and adjusted public transport stops. A playground for children has been created, benches, lighting, an irrigation system, trash bins, and underground waste containers have been added. Today, the city leadership unveiled a statue called Garden Butterfly in the square.
    The opposition Green Party claims that the renovation is overpriced by 15 million. They criticize that parking spaces were created at the expense of greenery.
