New shopping center in the center of Kladno will open at the end of March

Kladno - A new shopping center in the center of Kladno, with a retail area of approximately 26,000 m², will open at the end of March. Tenants have already taken over the stores, and employees are beginning to prepare the shops for opening, Ondřej Micka from the communication agency told ČTK today. Over 90% of the center's area has been leased. About 500 people are expected to find employment here. The opening is scheduled for March 20.
    The center will feature a variety of shops and services, including a hypermarket, clothing stores, a pharmacy, cafes, and a 5D cinema. "Since almost all tenants have already taken over their spaces and are preparing their stores, we expect that over 90% of the shops will be operational at the opening, and the remaining ones will open shortly thereafter," said Radim Sayed, the commercial director of the construction investor, Crestyl Group.
    The center, which cost approximately 1.5 billion crowns to build, also includes an underground parking lot with a capacity of 700 vehicles. For children, there will be an amusement park and a Lego exhibit focused on travel and architecture. This will feature a several-meter replica of Prague's Main Train Station with moving trains and subway cars, complemented by seven other interactive models of architecturally interesting buildings around the world.
    The construction permit for the shopping center was obtained by the development company Crestyl last year, but the process took over three years. The construction was delayed primarily by its critics, who founded two civil associations due to concerns over increased traffic and environmental degradation. These associations participated in the entire process before the construction began and often appealed against the decisions of officials.
    The development company Crestyl has been active in the Czech market since 1996. At 15 locations, it is developing projects with an investment value of over one billion euros, or over 27 billion crowns.
     In Kladno, the Shopping JIH shopping center and the Oaza commercial complex in Kročehlavy are already serving customers.
