Ústí nad Labem/Teplice - Developer Jaroslav Třešňák can build a high-rise building in the spa town of Teplice. The regional office today confirmed the exemption issued by the Teplice building department. This was communicated to ČTK by the spokesperson of the Ústí Region, Lucie Dosedělová.
A building of more than twenty stories could be constructed near the city center. The entrepreneur has been trying to obtain a building permit for about two and a half years. The construction of the high residential building was not liked by some residents, who protested against the exemption issued by the Teplice magistrate. They were concerned, among other things, about the increase in traffic. However, the regional office confirmed the city's decision today.
According to Mladá fronta Dnes, the developer recently named the project Casanova Tower. Giacomo Casanova spent the last years of his life in a castle in nearby Duchcov and often traveled to Teplice.
