AC Milan unveiled their new stadium

Milan - The football giant AC Milan and the architectural firm ARUP presented their intention this week to redevelop the central part of Milan, where a new football stadium for the northern Italian club could be built.
     The project will host not only a modern football arena but also the club's headquarters with a hotel, a sports school, restaurants, children's playgrounds, and spaces designated for public use by the citizens of Milan. ARUP utilized its long-standing experience in designing and realizing sports buildings and drew inspiration from other great stadiums around the world. The new stadium will particularly focus on families with children, offering the latest technologies and facilities.
     ARUP used a parametric tool to ensure the best possible view for spectators of the playing field. This also related to the design of the construction and location of VIP lounges, locker rooms, etc. To mitigate noise from the surroundings, the stadium will be equipped with a movable roof.
