The authors Romana Rosová and Martin Strakoš will present the exhibition Architect Camillo Sitte (1843-1903) and his work in the Ostrava region. The examination of how Sitte studied historical settlements, how he addressed urban regulatory plans (Těšín, Olomouc, Teplice, Liberec, regulatory plans for settlements in the Ostrava area), how he shaped the new center of Přívod, and how the Přívod housing was preserved for the future through heritage care, represents the main axis of the exhibition. Particularly, Přívod has become a prime example of Sitte's thinking about the creation of a new urban environment, as he not only designed the regulatory plan here but also the church, the rectory, and the town hall.
