The SMART operating system provides maximum flexibility in creating open-plan offices. The open layout of the large office allows for the optimization of workstations based on the necessary organizational relationships between employees and customers, while better utilizing the floor space.


By using the SMART space-saving workstation, it is possible to further increase the efficiency of floor space use in open-plan offices as well as in smaller individual room offices.
The principle of the SMART space-saving workstation lies in the variable depth of the desk. The desk depth is 80 cm on the side where the flat monitor is placed and 60 cm on the opposite side, which serves as a storage area. The SMART space-saving workstation can be assembled into a combined workstation with a beveled front edge, or grouped together with a beveled edge, achieving the greatest effect in floor space savings. In combination with space-saving CD containers, a compact, highly efficient workstation is created that meets current office needs while saving floor space in the open-plan office.

When using space-saving workstations, it is also possible to place filing cabinets in the same room.

A room with a width of 340 - 350 cm will not allow arranging additional standard workstations behind each other due to a narrow passage.

The space-saving workstation will increase the width of the passage by 10 cm on each side, allowing for 4 workstations to be placed in the same room.

A room approximately 570 cm wide (building module 600 cm) will not allow the placement of 4 standard workstations next to each other.

The same room can be furnished with 4 space-saving workstations. The space between the central workstations is wider by 40 cm.

The same space can only accommodate 3 standard workstations.

When designing open-plan offices, each pair of space-saving workstations placed back to back saves 20 cm in the direction of arrangement.
5 pairs of SMART space-saving workstations in a row save 1 m of room length (approximately 6.5%) while maintaining the necessary workspace.
