Rigips, s.r.o., has been organizing the BPB Trophy competition for several years to support the craftsmanship of drywall companies. For the first time this year, it announces a Public Prize competition for the winning object of the national round.
In the national round of the BPB Trophy 2008 competition, 37 objects were entered, from which an expert jury selected one to represent the Czech Republic in the international round in June in Brussels, Belgium. Among the projects are many interesting, imaginative, and untraditionally designed interiors of family and apartment buildings, hotels, restaurants, offices, and other public spaces.
On the Rigips website, www.rigips.cz, you can view the competing projects and vote until February 29, 2008.
The implementing company whose object receives the most votes will win the Public Prize. The results will be announced in a ceremony in March 2008 and published on the Rigips website and in the summer issue of the Rigips Magazine.
About the BPB Trophy competition The BPB Trophy is an international competition held for over a decade for implementing companies in the categories "Dry Internal Construction Systems" and "Innovative Solutions in Dry Internal Construction". The goal of the competition is to support and evaluate the art, skill, and quality of the work of installation companies that process Rigips products and systems. From the objects entered into the Czech national round, the expert jury selects a winner who represents our republic in the international round. This year, the winning projects in both categories will be presented on June 6, 2008, at the world forum in Brussels, Belgium. The jury evaluates projects based on technical and aesthetic criteria. The originality of the construction, the use of special techniques, the overall technical level of processing, and the aesthetic impression are primarily assessed. The size and volume of the completed work do not play a role in the evaluation.
