Concrete is one of the most commonly used construction materials, found all around us. It is a material that is generally perceived by the public as cold and unaesthetic, primarily due to past decades of socialist construction. The word concrete often evokes something rough, utilitarian, or unsightly. However, few would think that furniture can be made from concrete, and moreover, it can appear unique and aesthetic. Concrete has a long tradition in the world, which is being followed by the Czech company Concereto. With respect to this tradition, Concereto aims to show that concrete need not be just gray and unattractive, but can instead be extraordinary, stylish, and harmoniously integrated with the surrounding interior. Furthermore, it can look exactly as you envision it, as the only limitation for concrete is the boundary of your imagination.

Concrete walls from panel construction stand in many places as a grim monument and are an unfriendly dominant feature of the landscape. Concereto's goal is to return the original face to this noble material, whose monumentality was elevated by ancient builders in works such as the dome of the Roman Pantheon. Later, architects and designers like Le Corbusier used light effects in combination with the rough surface of concrete to evoke a sense of strength, protection, and security. Under the Concereto brand, individually themed concrete products such as bathroom sets, kitchen countertops, office desks, bar counters, concrete lamps, vases, clocks, and other accessories are now delivered. The product designs are original, based on the wishes of the customer, architect, or Concereto designers. Seamless products made from high-quality refined concrete can have any color, texture, and decorative element in the form of metal, glass, or shell, as requested.

Concrete furniture and products undergo a process of graphic, technical, and structural design to achieve an aesthetic and functional result. The moldability of the material is suitable for products with a distinctive concept, ergonomics, and original appearance. Concrete allows for the creation of precise products due to meticulously crafted molds, where the material perfectly copies all shapes and curves. Noble products from Concereto, made from natural components, bring a different dimension and an entirely new perspective on concrete and its integration into interiors. Moldability, surface roughness, delicacy, gloss, matte finishes, polished structures, veining, reliefs, diverse color finishes, decorative elements, inscriptions, or signs are qualities designed for those seeking new, modern solutions for interiors or exteriors.

A testing laboratory is also part of the production process, ensuring strict adherence to international standards. Whether it is concrete clocks, lamps, furniture, planters, or other accessories, everything is designed and handcrafted in the Czech Republic, proudly referenced by the brand and ensuring quality control over the entire production process. To achieve the highest quality, new technologies are constantly being developed and tested in collaboration with the Experimental Center of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, allowing even the most demanding architectural requirements to be met.

Unlike stone and stone products, concrete is not processed or broken but rather molded into the desired shape. Seamless concrete elements created from a single piece utilize the advantages of the material and allow for the creation of a consistently clean space, where the design is not disrupted by inaccuracies in the placement of pieces or seams between individual components. The Corecrete material also creates different maps and patterns each time, which cannot be repeated, making the concrete product an original in every piece. This is why Concereto believes in a new era of modern exposed concrete, where each element is a unique piece.
