Michal Sedláček: With Architecture Around the World
You are cordially invited to a lecture by architect Michal Sedláček held as part of the course Architect in Practice. The event will take place on February 24, 2014, at 4 PM in lecture hall A310 at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno.
Architect Michal Sedláček studied at the Faculty of Architecture at VUT in Brno and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Shortly after the fall of communism, he went to gain experience in the United States. Quite early on, he was taken into the team of architects by none other than guru Frank Gehry. This star architect - visionary is the author of several outstanding buildings in Los Angeles.
Michal Sedláček worked with Gehry for eight and a half years before becoming independent. Along with several colleagues, he founded his own architectural team, which is now organizationally connected with the company Aedas, which operates worldwide. His official title is: Aedas LA Managing Partner.
