Selection Procedure - Communication Manager and Press Spokesperson of ČKA

Job description:

• Actively and independently assess information related to the activities of the ČKA and the profession of architects, providing information to all members of this professional organization and also to the general and professional public.
• Creatively participate in the media and PR strategy of the ČKA.
• Collaborate with the office and members of the Chamber's bodies, providing them with support and resources in the field of communication.
• Actively and independently seek communication opportunities, both within the Chamber and from external sources, and prepare proposals and materials for communication.
• Actively communicate with the media and partners, i.e., prepare press materials, responses, and statements, and organize formal and informal press meetings.
• Collaborate on the construction and development of the intranet and the preparation of communication campaigns. Work with suppliers.
• Perform other activities related to the role of communication manager and spokesperson, including administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in media or PR work
• Interest in architecture
• Pleasant and professional demeanor, excellent written and oral communication skills, sensitivity to precise expression
• Independence, responsibility, and reliability
• Knowledge of English

Advantage:

• Overview of developments in the architectural scene in the Czech Republic and abroad
• Understanding of the performance of the architect and urban planner professions
• Previous experience in a similar position
