Prague - The Prague-based development company Red Group plans to invest up to 50 million euros (nearly 1.3 billion CZK) in the construction of one hotel and three modern office buildings in Ostrava. This was stated by the company's investment director Richard Ness in an interview with Czech Business Weekly. Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter.

The three-star hotel will be located near the city center, close to Hornopolní and Cihelní streets. The hotel will offer 184 rooms and conference facilities for 200 people.
Red Group also plans to renovate the Padowetz Palace in Brno and convert it back into a hotel. The palace is currently being used as office space, writes Czech Business Weekly.
