Construction company from the Rath case has disposed of its trademark

Prague - The construction company Konstruktiva Branko, whose director Pavel Drážďanský and business chief Tomáš Mladý are accused in the corruption scandal of former Central Bohemian governor David Rath, is reportedly disappearing from the market according to today's E15 newspaper. The successor company with a billion turnover and two hundred employees is, according to the commercial register, an unknown limited liability company Tenton, which was established this spring with a basic capital of 200,000 crowns, it writes.
      Both companies agreed on the transaction last week, and Tenton wants to fully continue the activities of Konstruktiva Branko according to E15. All receivables and liabilities of Konstruktiva Branko were also transferred to Tenton, and neither party has disclosed the purchase price.
      The successor company has recently relocated its headquarters and is already operating in the Branka building in Prague's Braník. At the end of July, the construction and real estate company Tenton also changed ownership. It was acquired from entrepreneur Marie Maňasová and her son by the current managing director Miloslav Melichárek. According to information from E15, he is a manager of Konstruktiva Branko.
      Given the personal connections, it is likely that the main motivation for the transaction with Konstruktiva Branko is the attempt to get rid of the commercial brand tainted by the corruption scandal, writes today's E15.
