The construction of the magistrate building in Olomouc will complicate traffic in the surrounding area

Olomouc - The completion of the construction of a new building for municipal office workers will complicate traffic near the center of Olomouc. Several road closures are planned in the surrounding streets at the end of the year so that workers can finish building the structure and modifying its surroundings.
     The spokesperson for the Olomouc city hall, Radka Štědrá, told ČTK that today and on Sunday, the streets Wellnerova and Hynaisova will be closed due to surface modifications in the vicinity of the building. By the end of November, there will be a partial closure of these streets, which will allow only one-way traffic. "Until December 20, the street Hynaisova will be closed in the section between the buildings Hynaisova 10 and Hynaisova II," Štědrá indicated.
     The new city hall building is expected to be operational at the beginning of next year. Part of the municipal officials, who have so far resided in historic buildings in the city center, will move into the facility. The city hall has already begun to sell these properties.
