Neratovice - Neratovice in the Mělník region purchased land from Alexander Lobkowicz, on which they will create building plots. For the area exceeding 12 hectares, the city paid 48 million crowns, Neratovice Mayor Roman Kroužecký (Together for Neratovice) informed ČTK in response to an inquiry.
The land is located behind the Kojetický stream. The city has been striving to acquire it for several years. To finance the purchase, subdivision, and subsequent infrastructure development of the land, the city will use a loan of 100 million crowns. The plots will then be offered for sale to people who want to build their own homes. "The first study anticipates 52 family or row houses," said the mayor.
According to him, the plots will not be designated for developers, but the city plans to sell them individually. Processing all the necessary details will take approximately two years, after which the city could start offering the first plots. The price will be determined by expert assessments that the city will have prepared when the sale becomes relevant. Currently, in the region, developed plots are sold for approximately 3500 to 4500 crowns per square meter, but the exact amount greatly depends on the location.
