The Architecture Gallery Brno and the Czech Architecture Foundation are launching the ATELIERS on the third floor of the building on Starobrněnská street.
The Starobrněnská ATELIERS are located in the pedestrian zone near the Zelný trh in the historic center of Brno. In the street-level part of the building, there is the Neoluxor bookstore, and in the courtyard, the popular pub U Poutníka. The heart of the building is the Architecture Gallery Brno, which is connected to the offices of the Czech Chamber of Architects and the cult café Alfa, which opened here at the beginning of the year. The combination of the exhibition and lecture space of the gallery, café Alfa, and the ATELIERS offers an open platform that unites creative individuals in the fields of architecture, art, and design under one roof.
The building is owned by the Czech Architecture Foundation, which has long supported the popularization of architecture. The total rentable area is 300 m². The ateliers also have access to a shared outdoor atrium of 40 m² and a 20 m² balcony. Modernized social facilities, including a shower, are a matter of course. There are 9 ateliers of various sizes available, which can also be functionally interconnected. Renting the ateliers is possible immediately by arrangement!
