The city of Brno still does not have the rights to the verses adorning the fountain

Brno - On Monday, August 14, the installation of the future bronze fountain began on Freedom Square, which is set to be put into operation in October along with the renovated surface of Freedom Square.
The city of Brno, however, has not yet secured the rights to the verses that are to adorn the new fountain and drinking fountain in the square, despite the grilles surrounding the fountain with excerpts from Jan Skácel's work already being manufactured. Four years ago, the city did not apply for permission to use the verses, and negotiations with the heir of the copyright, Božena Skácelová, are currently ongoing without success.
