Brno - A historic house at the corner of Milady Horákové and Koliště streets in Brno, which is a cultural monument, is going up for auction. It is being sold by IMPS a.s. The starting price of the house in the city center is 25 million crowns. This information was obtained by ČTK from the auction announcement.
    The auction of the six-story commercial property, which includes office and retail spaces, will take place on Thursday. "There is interest in the property; over 20 companies have already contacted us before the auction. The house is in an attractive location," said Juraj Tréger from the Realspektrum company, which is overseeing the auction.
    According to the auction announcement, the house was built in 1868 as part of the city ring road being developed. It was modernized 100 years later. The location of the auctioned property is considered attractive. Across from the house at the corner of the same streets, a hotel is set to be built. The investor has already demolished an older, unused building that was on the site.
    The house going up for auction has been valued by an expert at 29.6 million crowns. The minimum bid is 25 million crowns, with a minimum increment of 100,000 crowns. The property covers a footprint of 343 square meters, and the usable floor area exceeds 1,000 square meters.
    IMPS a.s., which is selling the house, was founded in 1992 according to its website as part of the delimited concern ZVS Brno. The company's main focus has been primarily on commercial and engineering activities. Today, the company operates in the fields of education, accommodation, and trade.
