Prague - The investment real estate group CPI Group will build new office spaces in Prague's Karlín near the Křižíkova metro station for 287 million crowns. This was announced today by the group's spokesperson Jan Burian. The construction of the project, which will be part of the existing administrative complex Meteor, is set to be completed by the end of next year. According to CPI Group's leasing manager Eva Lovětínská, the company will construct an office building on land located close to the metro exit, which will complete the entire Meteor Centre Office complex. "Meteor has always been known for its excellent quality/price ratio, as evidenced by the nearly full occupancy of buildings A and B. We definitely want to maintain this ratio for Meteor C as well," she stated, adding that CPI has begun talks with the first potential clients. The Meteor C building will offer up to five thousand square meters of office space. There will be commercial areas on the ground floor, and two underground levels will be designated for parking. The CPI Group, owned by entrepreneur Radovan Vítek, is one of the largest real estate investors in the Czech Republic. It owns a total of 12,600 rental apartments, making it the second-largest provider of rental housing in the country after RPG Byty. The CPI Group also manages and administers hundreds of thousands of square meters of commercial and office spaces, as well as owning hotels and warehouses. The value of the group's assets rose to 64.7 billion crowns last year. In central Prague, the company is currently constructing the multifunctional Quadrio complex above the Národní metro station.
