Brno – New whirlpool and cooling pools and saunas, an extension of the changing rooms for visitors, as well as new offices, will be added in the swimming complex at Kraví hora in Brno within three years. The reconstruction is expected to cost 73.9 million crowns, Brno councilors announced today after their meeting.
"The planned construction modifications will transform the existing complex into a wellness facility. Reconstruction will begin this year. First, the social facilities of the summer swimming pool will be expanded. Everything should be completed by the end of 2023," said Councilor for Investments David Grund (ODS).
In addition to the whirlpool and cooling pools and saunas, and the extension of new office space and changing rooms, the building constructed in 2004 will undergo sanitation of the reinforced concrete structure and waterproofing. A green roof will also be built.
