ROOMS - a showcase of young architecture
On the days of 18th - 20th October a showcase of young architecture will take place - ROOMS. You can look forward to several dozens of young studios and architects who will present their work through models, projections, and visualizations.
The first edition of the ROOMS showcase will be held in a unique setting of a currently unused house at Cihelná 4 in Malá Strana. The house has 46 rooms, of which over 30 will be dedicated to architecture. The studios will not only present their designs but will also try to engage visitors with a specific arrangement of their room. This will create a diverse and original mix of styles and ideas.
Among the architectural studios and groups that you will see include xtopix, ting architects, quest architects, mu:n, homostudio, neolokátor, Petr Janda, mimosa architekti, by architects, coll coll, anarch architekti, trevisan atelier, Raketoplán, ÚRM, 23 studio, Raketoplán, students of FA ČVUT, Domy jinak, atelier Povětroň, Manua, edit!, The builders, Nacházel architekti, monom, progres atelier, archwerk, inform, Prokšpřikryl architekti, atelier Vltava, students of FA VUT.
In the remaining 8 rooms, 2 bars, a café, a bistro with refreshments, a cinema featuring Danish documentaries, a lecture hall, and 2 dance floors will be prepared for you, where you can look forward to DJs from Radio Wave, breakbeat.cz, Tea Jay Ivo and more.
