The subject of the competition was the development of an architectural and artistic design for the interior equipment of the synagogue and the proposal for the exhibition solution of the regional Jewish museum of South Bohemia. All in connection with the currently ongoing reconstruction of the building.
Competition dates: April 20 – June 15, 2012
Jury: Jan Chaloupek, Václav Franěk, František Petrlík, Arno Pařík, Stanislav Chval, Jindra Bromová, Lucie Růžičková; substitutes: Pavel Fencl, Jakub Nepustil, Jana Benešová
Number of submitted proposals: 10
Total prizes and rewards: 70,000 CZK

1st prize (40,000 CZK): H3Tarchitekti/ Štěpán Řehoř, Vít Šimek
Strengths:
Simplicity and clarity of spatial solution
“Golden standards”
Solution of the bima
Color solution of the interior
Lighting solution (one differing opinion noted)
Play with the interplay of light in the main hall
