The Building of the Year in the South Moravian Region is the Theatre on Orlí

Brno - The Building of the Year 2012 in the South Moravian Region is the new building of the Brno Theatre on Orlí for the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts. The jury was also impressed by the project to make the Brno ossuary accessible. This was stated by the organizers of the competition from the South Moravian Building Society to ČTK. The awards were presented today to the winners at the construction fair in Brno.
    The new music and drama laboratory of JAMU won the category of civic amenities along with the new information and study center of the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno.
    In the residential construction category, the complex of apartment buildings in the village of Pavlov near Dolní Věstonice in the Břeclav region won, which was invested in by the company Pavlof s.r.o.
    In the field of industrial buildings, the jury was most impressed by the Brno production hall of SK TECHNIK, and for transport structures, the road with the Dobrovský tunnels in Brno.
    The accessibility of the Brno ossuary is the best reconstruction of the year. Among ecological projects, the jury was most impressed by the investment to improve the water quality in the Jihlava and Svratka rivers. The project is related to the reconstruction of the sewage system and wastewater treatment plant in Ivančice in the Brno region.
